Dear All,

Welcome to the Christmas 2024 edition of Ensemble.

This year, Trafalgar Entertainment colleagues across all our businesses and divisions have drawn upon our core company values of creativity, collaboration, excellence and respect to deliver a truly memorable 2024; a year filled with showstopping productions, global broadcasts, record-breaking audiences, venue openings, award wins, inventive campaigns, far-reaching education initiatives and much more. We have delivered on all fronts, and we can be immensely proud of our collective achievements.

Thanks to every one of you for making 2024 another milestone year for Trafalgar Entertainment. We couldn’t achieve any of this without you. Take a look at some of our 2024 Highlights in this special edition of Ensemble. 

The festive season is without doubt our busiest trading period each year, and with panto season well and truly underway, the Imagine Theatre team are full steam ahead producing a record-breaking 21 pantomimes and hoping to entertain audiences of nearly 600,000. There’s also been a big drive this year to get our 2025/26 pantomime season on-sale to coincide with the opening of our 2024 shows. I’m delighted to say we have successfully delivered this objective, helping to generate customer awareness and secure early sales for next year. 

Christmas is also a time of reflection, and I wanted to acknowledge our colleagues at the Beck Theatre in Hayes. It’s been well documented that we’ve spent the past couple of years working tirelessly with the London Borough of Hillingdon (LBH) to find a viable way to continue our operation of The Beck Theatre. Regrettably, it has not been possible to find a way forward, and therefore, we are saddened to be saying goodbye to our colleagues at the Beck in January.

A huge thank you to Steve Sargeant and his amazing team for their contribution, commitment, and dedication to the operation of the theatre over the years. We are immensely proud of all your achievements and we wish you the best of luck for the future. And we will do everything we can to ensure a smooth handover to the new operator in the new year.   

Finally, Howard and I would just like to wish everyone at Trafalgar Entertainment a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Enjoy some precious time with your families and friends and we’ll see you all again in 2025.
