Stagecoach held its very first Creative Courage for Life Awards earlier this month with a glitzy ceremony at the Shaftsbury Theatre on 2 December. The awards bash formed part of Stagecoach’s annual Charity Gala event and celebrated the phenomenal talent of its students. During the event, the stage was bursting with young talent as guests were treated to performances from Stagecoach students from across the UK.

Event CinemaTrafalgar Releasing

The film version of the multiple Tony award-winning Lincoln Center Theater production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I: From the London Palladium has become the biggest theatre event in cinemas of 2018 following global screenings at the end of November.

The production is expected to take $2.5m at the box office.

Comedian Dom Joly, actress Beverley Callard, TV presenter Alison Hammond, comedian Steve Punt and actor Philip Franks will star as The Narrator in the 2018/19 UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show. The five stars will take to the stage to perform the iconic role at various moments during the new national tour of the show, which opens at Theatre Royal Brighton this month and then travels across the UK until November 2019.
