Happy New Year and welcome to the January 2026 edition of Ensemble. I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas, and managed to find some time to relax and unwind with friends and family. Christmas seems like a distant memory now, with panto season wrapping up for another year, and everyone now focussed on a busy year ahead.

In this special preview edition of Ensemble, we look ahead to all the exciting Trafalgar productions and cinema events coming up over the next few months. From thrilling dramas such as Double Indemnity and Shadowlands, to large scale musicals like High Society and Top Hat, our production teams have a demanding schedule in 2026. And Trafalgar Releasing start the year with a busy slate of new releases including Twenty One Pilots, Othello, and Bring Me the Horizon.

Imagine Theatre’s Jamie Leadbeatter, talks us through the latest panto season stats, and our Marketing Project Manager, Vicky Bell, tells us about a special Tone of Voice marketing day in Glasgow. We have a major update on the Orchard Theatre in Dartford, as we announce a reopening date, and we hear from some of our Trafalgar colleagues, who tell us what they’re most looking forward to in 2026.
