Dear All,

Welcome to the April edition of Ensemble. I hope you all enjoyed the Easter Bank Holiday and the warmer weather. And of course, a big thank you to everyone who worked across our venues over the Easter weekend.

First of all, a very warm welcome to all of our new colleagues at the Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow. We are thrilled and delighted to be the new operators of this beautiful iconic Scottish theatre – one of the oldest in Scotland – and we are committed to honouring the legacy that you have all built together over the years. I know that Jamie, Scott, Marie and the rest of the Glasgow team have already met with several colleagues from across TE, and next month, we’ll feature the Glasgow team in Ensemble so that more of you can put names to faces.

Last month, we held our annual Management Away Day at G Live in Guildford, under the theme of Living Our Values – Excellence. A huge thank you to Andy Locke and his Team (pictured below) for hosting and delivering the event and looking after us all so brilliantly. The venue looked spectacular and the hospitality was of the highest order. A great example of excellence at work! Special thanks to Matt Clark and Fleur Manuel from our Events Team for all their dedication and hard work in organising the event for the second year running; and finally, thank you to all those who contributed, participated or attended on the day. It’s also nice to see so many of you using your new corporate headshots in your Teams and LinkedIn profiles!

Don’t forget there is an additional Bank Holiday on Monday 8 May to mark the Coronation of King Charles III. In next month’s Ensemble, we’ll be featuring coverage of this historic event, so if you’re celebrating with a street party or marking the occasion in some other way, then please send your photos and any details to Dave Bradbury [email protected]
