TRAFALGAR THEATRE UPDATE

Ensemble can reveal that the new Trafalgar Theatre exterior signage is now up and ready to welcome audiences for Jersey Boys when it is safe to do so.

The renovation continues inside the venue, of course, with the auditorium, restrooms and foyer all beginning to take shape.

Meanwhile, recruitment of the new theatre team has also tentatively begun. Over the next few weeks, we will be interviewing candidates for the positions of Deputy Technical Manager, Stage Door Receptionist and the newly created role of Theatre Administrator, who will work closely with Martin and Christina as a new member of the theatre management team.

Our customers are also looking forward to returning to the theatre.

Paul Burton on Facebook said, “This is very exciting! I can’t wait until the restored theatre reopens with one auditorium again!”

Martin Clark added, “Can’t wait to see the restoration of the stunning Art Deco features that were painted out or hidden away due to the conversion into two spaces.”

Jozef Csendes agreed by saying, “It’s so wonderful to see this work happening. I can’t wait to see the stunning restored Art Deco interiors and seeing the building in the way it was originally designed to be!”

Faisal Hussian said, “I have really missed the theatre since March 2020.”

And Manuel Ramalho announced that Trafalgar Theatre is “One of my favourite theatres in London!” We couldn’t agree more!

Fingers crossed, this all points towards an exciting year ahead for Trafalgar Theatre!
