EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Meet our brand new Employee of the Month, Victoria Bell!

Where do you work and what do you do?

I work in the Woking office as Marketing Projects Manager, in a team with Jo Scalpello and Dave Bradbury in Group Marketing.

Describe yourself in 3 words!

Creative, curious, organised

Favourite stage production and why?

I would have to say Hamilton, just because it was so different to anything I had seen before. I’m a massive theatre fan so it’s hard to choose a favourite and an expensive hobby to have – but I also saw My Neighbour Totoro recently which I really loved.

Favourite album?
Oasis: (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?

Best ever gig?

I absolutely love music and spend most of my time at gigs, I’m a bit of an emo at heart. I’m cheating slightly by saying a festival, but Reading Festival 2003 (Blink 182, Linkin Park, Metallica) and then I went back in 2019 and it was just as good (Foo Fighters, Yungblud, Twenty One Pilots).

Top 3 films of all time?

I struggled with this one as I couldn’t choose so I went with childhood nostalgia; so any of the Home Alone, Star Wars or Indiana Jones films.

What’s your go to TV binge boxset?

Stranger Things.

Favourite holiday destination and why?

Rome. The history, architecture, food – everything about the city is just beautiful.

Your Greatest sporting achievement?
Possibly winning the egg and spoon race in 1993? I’m not very good at sports.

What’s your cooking masterpiece?

I make a great sourdough pizza and I’m getting really good at baking cinnamon buns.

Who is your hero and why?

Probably Dave Grohl. He just seems like the nicest person in rock. Has been in two of the greatest bands playing different instruments, has written some amazing songs, guested on some of my favourite albums, does a lot for charity and has even appeared on The Muppets and CBeebies Bedtime Stories. Absolute hero.
