STAGECOACH STUDENTS SHINE AT DISNEYLAND PARIS

Students from Stagecoach Performing Arts have recently starred in two high profile events. At the end of October, 37 students took part in the first ever ‘Behind the Magic’ event at Disneyland Paris. The students spent an entire weekend working with Disney professionals and then staged a live performance in front of hundreds of visitors.

Earlier this month, Stagecoach hosted a Live in the West End event at the Shaftsbury Theatre featuring 16 performances from 16 different schools from across the UK. The eclectic programme included performances of songs from The Greatest Showman, Wicked, Annie, American Idiot and The Lion King alongside a special piece to commemorate the First World War Centenary.

Coming up, Stagecoach hosts a charity gala featuring the Stagecoach Creative Courage for Life Awards. The event takes place at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 2 December and recognises the outstanding achievements of both students and teachers in 15 award categories. More on the awards in next month’s newsletter.
