Employee Appreciation Day is a nationally recognised day across the United States that aims to acknowledge the work of employees and let them know they are appreciated. The event was established in 1995 by Recognition Professionals International board member Bob Nelson and is observed annually on the first Friday of March.

So on Friday 5 March, we are holding our very own TE Staff Appreciation Day and everyone across the Group is invited to take part – furloughed and non-furloughed staff. WE WANT TO CELEBRATE YOU!

We’d like you to nominate a colleague and give them the recognition they deserve! Has someone gone above and beyond to deliver a project or an exceptional piece of work? Maybe they’ve provided long service to your company? Or does someone just put a smile on your face and make you laugh? Whatever the reason, we’d love to hear from you.

Email your nomination along with a short paragraph explaining your reasons and a photo of that person (if you have one) to Dave Bradbury by Friday 26 February.
