It’s been a busy month for LTD with the announcement of a string of exciting business partnerships.

First, a partnership with easyGuide which enables locals and tourists alike to discover and book tickets to exciting activities and experiences in their favourite cities around the world and is the latest to join the “easy” family of brands which includes companies such as easyJet and easyHotel.

This new partnership will enable theatrical producers to reach an audience of in-destination travellers via the new easyGuide platform which utilises London Theatre Direct’s b2b distribution technology.

LTD has also announced support for tickets for West End Theatre and other events in Apple Wallet. Theatregoers with an iPhone or Apple Watch will now have the option to download their ticket directly to their devices for contactless entry into venues for a growing number of shows. Support for alternative devices will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

And that’s not all! Theatregoers with Android OS devices will have London theatre right at their fingertips. No more forgetting to print your tickets at home, waiting for them to arrive in the post, or worse, losing them altogether! Downloading tickets for a growing number of staged shows and events in London is now just a simple click away thanks to LTD’s support for Google Wallet and other third-party Android wallet applications.
