Where do you work and what do you do?
I’m the Facilities Manager at Bradford Live. I oversee the venue facilities and manage the contracted maintenance to ensure we preserve the building, comply with legislation and provide a world class experience to customers.

Favourite stage production and why?
Matilda the Musical – it’s the first West End production I experienced – around 2013.

Favourite album?
Does anyone still listen to full albums since Spotify took over? If I must choose, it’s The 1975 album ‘The 1975’ only because I could listen all the way through without skipping a song.

Best ever gig?
The War on Drugs, June 2023. ‘I Don’t Live Here Anymore’ is the best song I’ve heard live.

Top 3 films of all time?
Pearl Harbor, Legend and Bridesmaids.

What’s your go to TV binge boxset?
The Office (US)

Favourite holiday destination and why?
I’ve seen some beautiful places, but Ibiza’s sunset has my heart.

Your Greatest sporting achievement?
Rallying a Subaru Impreza was pretty fun or making it to a spin class once a week (if you can class that as sport).

Who is your hero and why?
My dad, no one is quite as inspirational.

What is your cooking masterpiece?
I make a cracking bacon and egg sandwich (runny yolk), on white, with brown sauce. My weekend breakfast staple.

What were your first impressions of Bradford Live?
Stunning. That’s the first word that left my mouth when I entered the building. I think it’s wonderful that the original features of the building have not only been preserved but celebrated.

What are you most looking forward to at the venue?
We’re in the process of recruiting the venue team ready for our first auditorium events in August. I’m excited to onboard the full team and look back in six months at what we’ll have achieved.
