Welcome to the August edition of Ensemble. I hope you’re all enjoying the summer and have managed to get away for a holiday or short break.

First, a quick update about the Vision and Values workshops that took place earlier this year at Trafalgar Studios. We are now in the final stages of compiling all your ideas and feedback and next month Jessamy and the team will be making a few short videos involving participants. We then plan to roll out the Vision and Values across the Group later this year.

In the meantime, if you have a great idea on how to grow the business or improve the way we work here at Trafalgar Entertainment then don’t forget that we want to hear from you. We’re keen to encourage new initiatives from across the business at all levels – from individuals or teams – so do share. Send your suggestions to me at [email protected] and we’ll review them in our business strategy sessions, developing those with the most potential and letting you know the best and brightest in future issues.

Exciting news on the production front as Olivier award-winning actress, Patricia Hodge, joins the cast of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, set to open at Trafalgar Studios next month. Congratulations also to our colleagues at Trafalgar Releasing for another record-breaking BTS film and to everyone at Stagecoach for another wonderful summer of showcases and Disney performances.

Finally, I’d like to wish you all a very happy Summer Bank Holiday and say a special thank you to those colleagues who are working over the long weekend.
