TINA – The Tina Turner Musical had its official Australian Premiere on 18 May at our Australian venue, Theatre Royal Sydney.

It was certainly a spectacular evening with celebrities gracing the red carpet, a DJ, and even fire cannons welcoming the audience into the Venue, including the big VIPs of the night—Howard, Rosemary and Andrew Hill!

After a successful Opening Night with rave reviews, the sad news came the following Thursday morning of Tina’s passing.

A beautiful tribute and a minute’s silence was held on the night and then for the following week, a tribute screen in the foyer acknowledging her legacy and condolence books were available for patrons and fans to sign, which will be given to her husband and family.
