Dartford’s Orchard West has been shortlisted for the Innovation Award at The Stage Awards 2025.

The Stage said: “Orchard West stands as a remarkable example of innovation and adaptability. The venue was conceived, designed and fully operational within just three months. Nor was it a restrictive stopgap; it is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including advanced sound and lighting systems. The venue’s technical infrastructure also reflects a commitment to environmentally conscious solutions.”

The winner will be revealed at The Stage Awards ceremony next week on January 20 at the Royal Opera House’s Linbury Theatre. Good luck everyone!

And in other Stage related news, Trafalgar Entertainment’s Joint CEOs and Co-Founders, Howard Panter and Rosemary Squire receive another top ten placing (9) in The Stage 100 this year, as the theatre industry publication unveils its 2025 countdown of the most influential people in UK theatre.

Last year, Trafalgar Entertainment was named one of Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies in the FT1000, opened new venue Fareham Live, secured the rights to operate Guildford’s G Live for the next 25 years, and became operators of Eastbourne Theatres.
