THE PRINCE OF EGYPT: THE MUSICAL

One of the biggest musicals ever staged The Prince of Egypt: The Musical is coming to cinemas from 19 October! Based on the classic DreamWorks Animation film and featuring composer Stephen Schwartz’s (Wicked) “miraculous music” (Time Out) – including his Academy Award®-winning song ‘When You Believe’ – and Sean Cheesman’s “astonishing choreography” (The Guardian), this epic, critically acclaimed production with an original London cast and orchestra of more than 60 artists tells an inspiring tale of resilience and hope.

Journey through the wonders of Ancient Egypt as two young men, raised together as brothers in a kingdom of privilege, find themselves suddenly divided by a secret past. One must rule as Pharaoh, the other must rise up and free his true people; both face a destiny that will change history forever. Filmed live at the Dominion Theatre in London, this spectacular stage show comes to cinemas for the first time.

CROSSROADS GLOBAL FAN EVENT

Trafalgar Releasing, Sony Music Entertainment and RCA Records have announced plans to bring Crossroads, starring Britney Spears in her first feature role, to cinemas worldwide on 23 and 25 October for a special global fan event.

The Crossroads Global Fan Event will coincide with the release of Spears’ highly anticipated memoir, THE WOMAN IN ME, available worldwide on 24 October.

The Crossroads Global Fan Event will also include a bonus sing-along of two Britney Spears’ songs from Crossroads following the film, which have never been seen on the big screen.

Crossroads tells the story of three childhood friends, Lucy (Spears), Kit (Zoë Saldana) and Mimi (Taryn Manning), who, after eight years apart, rediscover their friendship on a cross-country trip. With barely a plan, practically no money but plenty of dreams, the girls catch a lift with Mimi’s handsome friend Ben (Anson Mount) in his convertible. Along the way they not only gather experiences that will change their lives, but they also discover how important it is to hold onto their hearts’ desires.
