STAGECOACH AWARDS CELEBRATE CREATIVE COURAGE

Stagecoach held its very first Creative Courage for Life Awards earlier this month with a glitzy ceremony at the Shaftsbury Theatre on 2 December. The awards bash formed part of Stagecoach’s annual Charity Gala event and celebrated the phenomenal talent of its students.

During the event, the stage was bursting with young talent as guests were treated to performances from Stagecoach students from across the UK.

With fifteen categories in total, awards were presented for outstanding actor, singer and dancer, amongst others, whilst teachers were also recognised in the outstanding singer and dancing teacher categories.

Special presentations also included the Overcoming Diversity and Creative Courage for Life Awards.

All proceeds from this year’s charity gala are going towards YoungMinds, which is the UK’s leading charity championing the mental well-being of children and young people.

Stagecoach CEO, Sarah Kelly, said: “Our annual Charity Gala celebrated the collective talent from within the Stagecoach Performing Arts community and helped to raise money for our nominated charity of the year, YoungMinds.

“The first ever International Creative Courage for Life Awards, combined with our Charity Gala, have showcased and rewarded the exciting expressive talent from within our network whilst also recognising the outstanding talents of our wonderful expert teachers.”
