YOUR PLANS FOR 2024 – PART ONE
We ask TE staff what they’re most looking forward to in 2024.
STUART PENNEY – NEW THEATRE CARDIFF
This year I’m looking forward to going to the Paris 2024 Olympics in July and August. I never managed to go to London 20212 or any of the subsequent ones and I think it’ll be amazing. I’ll be at the Hockey, Athletics and the Tennis at Roland-Garros. And just to be clear, I’ll be spectating and not competing.
EMMA GOODRIDGE – IMAGINE THEATRE
I am looking forward to spending some more time walking by the beach in 2024 and to our first Panto photoshoot of the season.

RINGO YU – STAGECOACH
This year, I’m eager to witness two achievements in sports. I aim to complete at least one half-marathon this year, considering my last one was four years ago. Also, I hope Sir Lewis Hamilton, my beloved F1 athlete, regains the top position on the podium. He’s served as a remarkable role model, showcasing persistence and self-belief during all difficult times in his career.
MATILDA DWYER – THEATRE ROYAL SYDNEY
In 2024 I am looking forward to the challenge of opening a variety of new shows at Theatre Royal Sydney. To go from over 300 performances of TINA in 2023 to a new show every few months will be exciting for all. I am also looking forward to my brother’s wedding in October.

I am looking forward to going on a family holiday abroad to Spain this year, our first since the Covid lockdown.
