The lady needs no introduction! This is Dolly’s first holiday album in 30 years (and incredibly, her 47th solo album overall!). The album features incredible duets with some of Dolly’s dearest friends including Michael Bublé, Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon and Willie Nelson, plus a special song with her brother, Randy Parton.

Eat: Marks and Spencer Christmas Pudding
Good Housekeeping ranked the M&S pud number one with an overall rating of 92/100. This rich, glossy, sticky pudding has a generous mix of plump vine fruits, glace cherries and almonds, with gentle cinnamon and nutmeg spices. The warming blend of brandy, port and sherry give it a delicious festive flavour.

Stargazing: The Christmas Star
Make sure you watch the skies this month. Jupiter and Saturn are set to align in the night sky for the first time in 800 years this Christmas. It will be the first time the event has taken place since the middle ages. The impressive alignment will take place in the western sky on December 21st for around an hour after sunset, which is the same date as the winter solstice.

The planets will appear so close that they will look like a bright double point of light in the sky. However, in reality the planets will actually be the same distance the Earth is from the sun. If you miss it you will have to wait until 2080 to see it again and if you miss that one you will only have to wait another 400 years when it will happen again in 2400.
