Trafalgar Releasing brings two stunning productions to UK cinemas next month. The Metropolitan Opera’s 2018-19 season continues with La Fille du Régiment, streamed live from New York to UK cinemas on 2 March.
Full of wit and invention, Donizetti’s comic opera is a delight. The famous aria “Ah, Mes Amis,” with its nine high Cs, is one of opera’s most show-stopping numbers.
STAGECOACH STUDENTS BREAK GUINNESS WORLD RECORD!
Thousands of Stagecoach students have successfully set a new Guinness World Record.
As part of the 30th anniversary celebrations last year, students from 73 schools participated in an internationally choreographed event over the summer. Stagecoach schools in the UK and abroad, including Germany and Canada, came together to stage multiple performances of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Junior.

We headed to Manchester and Sunderland last month for the official press launches of The King and I. Local media were invited to interview the cast and were treated to stunning preview performances from Jose Llana, reprising his critically acclaimed Broadway performance as The King, and Annalene Beechey, fresh from her West End success.

Following a successful US release this February, JONI 75 will be coming to UK cinemas on 21 March. Audiences will join an incredible array of singers and musicians who came together to honour one of the world’s most remarkable artists, Joni Mitchell, on her 75th birthday.

Paula Baker was born in Guildford in 1964 and grew up in Kent. She began her career as a legal secretary in Maidstone at the dawn of computerisation. She and her husband Kevin moved to Woking in early 1992 and Paula and I started working together soon after.
