OLLIE GOES MAINSTREAM
Ollie Charles from Trafalgar Releasing received some exciting news recently about his own writing.
Firstly, his poem HOW TO FALL IN LOVE, was positively received at the Streetcake experimental writing prize, a national competition for experimental poetry and prose writing. His poem was awarded third place amongst hundreds of submissions and has been published in the official anthology for the prize.
A few days later, he then received news that his short story, DILATED PUPIL, was selected as one of the stories for MAINSTREAM, a new short story collection featuring underrepresented writers.
Ollie’s story will appear alongside a number of other new and emerging writers as well as more established and well known writers including Kerry Hudson (Lowborn), Kit de Waal (My Name is Leon and most recently written for Sky’s The Third Day) and Paul McVeigh (The Good Son).
The publisher is currently crowdfunding via Unbound to cover their costs. Every supporter will receive a copy of the book in which their name will be printed.
