Following a forced closure of 499 days, a name change and a major multi-million pound renovation, Trafalgar Theatre finally reopened its doors last month and welcomed eager audiences back into the theatre to experience the wonders of its new Art Deco surroundings and the magic on stage of hit global phenomenon, Jersey Boys!

First night attendees were also treated to a little welcome back gift from theatre management and producers, a complimentary Jersey Boys t-shirt!

Over on social media, excitement continued to build ahead of opening night with the release of exclusive behind-the-scenes rehearsal shots and a stunning promotional video that you can watch below! The four main cast members – Ben Joyce, Benjamin Yates , Karl James Wilson and Adam David Bailey – were also vocal on Twitter generating a huge amount of buzz and excitement amongst fans! Next week, we welcome theatre critics to Trafalgar Theatre for our very first press night.

Following first week previews, fans were feeling the love for Jersey Boys! Fleur Danielle, said: “Tonight I was back in a theatre for the first time since February 2020 and I am so emotional. I’m blown away by the energy and talent of the entire cast.” Beki on Twitter, added: “I’m so happy this incredible show in back in the West End where it belongs. The entire cast are just amazingly talented and tonight was just a real sense of joy.”

Sharon Markham, enthused: “The talent and energy that oozed off that stage, along with all of the emotions and atmosphere in there was crazy!” Tanya Louise, said: “After seeing this show many times in London and New York, this cast is up there with the best! Brilliant.” And Sky News breakfast anchor, Kay Burley, tweeted: “Oh what a night! If you haven’t, you really should.”
