NOMINATE FOR THE WHAT’S ON STAGE AWARDS!

Nominations are now open for the 24th Annual What’s On Stage Awards and you can nominate!

The What’s On Stage Awards are the only major theatre awards nominated and voted for by the public. Now in their 24th year, they are considered one of the top highlights of the theatrical calendar celebrating the best of UK theatre!

Put forward your favourite performers and productions from over the past year before nominations close on 23 November.

All live, original UK professional productions – and performers within these productions – whose performances began between 22 November 2022 and 23 November 2023 are eligible in almost all of the categories. Full details on eligibility are available here.

If you’d like a few suggestions, then how about our very own A Strange Loop for Best New Musical and Kyle Ramar Freeman as Best Performer in a Musical.

Or maybe The Merchant of Venice 1936 – eligible for Best Off-West End Production and also Best Play Revival, along with Tracy-Ann Oberman for Best Performer in a Play. Nods could also go to Hannah Morrish and Raymond Coulthard for Best Supporting Performance in a Play.

Or what about Helen George for Best Performer in a Musical for her role as Anna in The King and I. And let’s send Jersey Boys out on a high for Best West End Show!

After nominations close, the shortlist will be announced in an online launch on 7 December, with the top nominees in each category then put to a final public vote ahead of the star-studded ceremony on 11 February 2024.
