MY BEST EVER CHRISTMAS PRESENT

Eleanor Wemyss, 28, Virgo, Drama Kids
My best Christmas gift was a Taylor Swift calendar. Not due to the calendar itself (which I was a bit unbothered about) but the Taylor Swift Wembley Tickets stuck to the back! It was a graduation gift from my parents to see her 2018 Reputation tour, and I’ve since seen the Era’s Tour. And get this, I went on the exact same date six years apart.

One year, when I was about 6 or 7, I’d opened all my Christmas gifts and didn’t get the doll I wanted. Then there was a knock at the front door. My mum opened it and there was a doll’s pram on the doorstep. It was wrapped in tinsel with the doll inside! Father Christmas couldn’t fit it down the chimney! I’ll always remember that moment.

The best Christmas gift I ever received was probably my first proper bike when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I remember my brother and I coming out Christmas morning to a handwritten note from Santa himself telling us our presents were waiting outside and there were two shiny new bicycles gleaming in the sun – mine was kitted out with a front basket and streamers on the handles of course! I hope I am on the nice list this year (probably won’t have earnt myself a bike, but hopefully a little treat or two!)

A couple of years a go I fell in love with a painting in a local Gallery. My partner surprised me with it for Christmas. It was my Best Christmas Pressie ever and I’m a lucky lady🙂Whether I’m on the naughty or nice list depends on the day – I think I’m more nice than naughty this year though!

I’ve just about squeezed onto the Nice list this year! The best ever present was taking my 7-year-old son to Disneyland Paris on Boxing Day. Although it was a present for him, what at treat it was for me as well!

One of my best ever Christmas presents was in 2009 when we unexpectedly got a puppy. He was quite sick when he came to us, so I spent the build up to Christmas Day carrying a small dog around in a blanket (as well as changing his name daily). Just in time for Christmas morning he was eating, walking and named Wally. We had 12 great Christmases with our 30kg lapdog, who loved a good bit of tinsel and a festive hat.
