After more than 18 months, spectacular live opera returns to cinemas with a season of dazzling performances from The Metropolitan Opera.

The Met: Live in HD 2021–22 season features ten live broadcasts from New York and begins on 9 October with the Russian epic Boris Godunov, starring the great German bass René Pape as the tragic star at the centre of Mussorgsky’s masterpiece.

Other performances include Verdi’s Don Carlos and Rigoletto, Massenet’s Cinderella and Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor.
