Ensemble has been granted an exclusive look behind the scenes of Imagine’s panto shoot!

Our new colleagues at Imagine Theatre have just completed their panto photoshoots for the 2023/34 season and here are the jaw-dropping stats!

18 pantos captured
26 Imagine staff and support team
90 cast members attended
237 bottles of water drunk
335 sandwiches eaten
874 emails sent
4,773 photographs taken
22,050 miles travelled

Sarah Boden, Joint CEO and Business & Marketing Director for Imagine, said: “Undertaking the photo shoots for our pantos is quite a challenge, and this year we had more photo shoot days than ever before. Organised brilliantly by the Imagine Marketing Team, photo shoots are always manic but fun days. It’s quite normal to see three dames all in the same room, or a clutch of Cinderella’s and Beauty’s, costumes and props everywhere, and to see swathes of glitter all over the floor – that’s pantoland for you!

“We use the photoshoot days to capture all marketing assets including EPK video and interviews, photographs (white background, behind the scenes and outdoor) and PR content, along with a chance to do costume fittings, so they are very busy. With 90 different people to capture, the behind the scenes planning and logistics are quite something.”
