HOURI SPEAKS OUT
Houri Tapiki, General Manager of Theatre Royal Sydney, was invited to speak on a ticketing panel at the recent 2022 Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress held in Sydney.
This Congress is the largest annual gathering of venue industry professionals in the Asia-Pacific.
Along with representatives from Ticketmaster, Ticketek and Antix (Theatre Ticketing Consultants), the panel discussed Customers and how the ticketing industry has changed post-COVID.
Houri was able to advocate the importance of building consumer confidence by providing an exceptional level of customer service and demonstrate how Theatre Royal Sydney is achieving this in both traditional methods such as phone and box office as well as digital methods such as chat bots and live chat.
The Congress was a great way to showcase Theatre Royal Sydney and Trafalgar Entertainment’s entry into the Asia-Pacific Venue market.
Houri received a lot of positive feedback about her contribution to the panel after the discussion, with many interested to learn more about how they can adopt similar methods.
