Panto season is off to a flying start with the announcement that comedy legend, musical theatre, TV, Strictly and soap star Brian Conley will star in this year’s production of Cinderella at the Cliffs Pavilion, Southend. 

The clock is ticking towards Christmas – and after the past year, we’re all in the market for a great live panto experience with the family.  Performances begin 13 December. 

As previously announced, Christopher Biggins will lead the cast of Jack & The Beanstalk at The Orchard Theatre, Dartford with more casting also to be revealed.  True panto royalty in a giant of a show!

More star names will be announced very soon – but we love a bit of speculation.  Can you work out any of the other casting from the clues below?

• Don’t quiz us about casting at The Beck – but you’ll definitely want to chase down a ticket. 
• There are lofty ambitions for casting at The Churchill, Bromley in what promises to be a bonny show this year.
• Meanwhile, announcements are being kept strictly under wraps at the White Rock, Hastings.
• And bob along to Crewe Lyceum for a show that will bring you joy (as long as you have the authority).
