HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!
The Orchard Theatre team in Dartford are proud to organise and host Dartford Pride for the third year running. The event has grown from a single stage outside the venue to two stages off site in Dartford’s Central Park and Acacia Sports Hall.

Dartford Pride is on Saturday 6 July and is headlined by Kimberly Wyatt of the PussyCat Dolls who presents Don’t Cha Disco. Other acts include tributes to Britney Speares, Dolly Parton, Pink, Tina Turner, the return of host Anton Stephans, Louis Cyfer, community acts from local drag queens, Dartford’s Got Talent, street performers, charity stallholders, a licenced bar, full security and so much more! Dartford Pride is free to attend. Main FLAG stage 2pm – 8pm. Community RAINBOW stage 11am – 4pm. We hope to see you there!

Over in Wales, Cardiff plays host to Pride Cymru, one of the biggest pride festivals in the UK, rivalling London and Manchester.
As long-term supporters of the event, the team from the New Theatre, will once again have a stall in the marketplace.
They use this opportunity to show their support to the LGBTQA+ community and tell them what the New Theatre Cardiff can offer as a venue and safe space for them to enjoy a variety of live entertainment.

And earlier this month, G Live was host venue for the launch of Pride in Surrey. The 2024 extravaganza takes place in Stoke Park on 21 September.
The launch event was attended by local and national organisations, councillors, groups and influencers. Pride in Surrey said it was great opportunity to network and to spread the word of the work they do.

The Pride in Surrey team thanked G Live for hosting the event, Cllr Julia McShane for speaking from Guildford Borough Council and their Patron Hazell Dean for announcing the Parade route this year.
