The building works on our new venue Fareham Live are progressing well. At this moment the cladding has come down from around the building and the beautiful deep red plush seating is being installed which should be complete by early next week. We’ll have a press release and a time lapse video of the seating going out soon to show this progress so far, all geared towards highlighting our opening at the end of September.  

Each time the team visits we see such amazing progress and we can promise that it really is going to be a stunning venue. Speaking of the team, we now have a few more members; Paul Wyse (Buildings and Technical Manager), Carmen Strydom (General Manager) and Emily Meldrum (Theatre Administrator), with more team members due to start in the coming weeks. We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our colleagues for their support so far, especially with new staff training; it’s a real team effort to open this venue and we really appreciate this. 

A quick marketing update on where we are now, as we have sold over 11,750 tickets. The most popular being The Rocky Horror Show, followed by Jimmy Carr, Jane McDonald, Cinderella and Simon Brodkin. We have 11,264 email sign ups, 2,157 Facebook followers, 767 Instagram followers, 68 X followers and 28 LinkedIn followers. Our teams are working hard on content to keep profile high over the summer which you can view here on our brand new blog HERE.
