FAREHAM LIVE PROGRESS REPORT
Fareham Live building works are progressing well and as you read this, the stage that will host all future performances is being built and the Fareham Live sign at the front of the building is going up at the end of this week.

Things will start to happen quite quickly from here and the teams have been working hard to keep it all running smoothly so we can open the venue the week of 23 September for some special events, and the first public show opening on 1 October, which will be The Rocky Horror Show starring Jason Donovan.

Following the season launch at the end of March, we are now standing at over 7,700 tickets sold. Audiences are snapping up tickets for Imagine Theatre’s pantomime Cinderella starring AJ and Curtis Pritchard and Paul Burling, and The Rocky Horror Show.

Other popular acts include Jane McDonald, Simon Brodkin and That’ll Be The Day. Fareham obviously loves to laugh as Jimmy Carr’s two shows have nearly sold out (the first performance already has!) and community favourite Stitches Comedy Club has sold out its first show in the Studio with another one already in the diary for February 2025.
As it’s a new venue, we’ve been working hard to build our communities. We now have 9,217 email sign ups, 1,771 followers on Facebook, 500 on Instagram and 64 on X. Please show your support and join us on these channels to be part of the conversation.

Our teams are working hard on content so this month you will start to see lots of local news articles appear on Trafalgar Theatres brand new blog. We are highlighting stories in the run up to the launch of Fareham on building work progress, staff interviews, features of the new venue including accessibility and sustainability, and the start of our work within the local community.
