EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH: VINCENT KELLY
Welcome to our monthly who’s who of Trafalgar Entertainment. This month we say hello to Vincent Kelly!
Where do you work and what do you do?
Trafalgar Theatre, Technical Manager
Describe yourself in 3 words!
Not good at counting.
Favourite stage production and why?
Book of Mormon, it’s outrageous and hilarious.
Favourite album?
The Rainbow Children, Prince
Best ever gig?
Prince with 3RDEYEGIRL (seeing a theme?) at the Electric Ballroom in Camden or Prince at the 02 (hard to choose).
Top 3 films of all time?
Shaun of the Dead, The Iron Giant, Full Metal Jacket
What’s your go to TV binge boxset?
The Wire
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Hard to pick just one. If I had to choose though, then Fort William in Scotland. It’s my Motherland and I’ve been going there all my life. The views still blow me away every time, and the whiskey is also a bonus.
Your Greatest sporting achievement?
At my last venue, the team and I beat the Hertfordshire fire brigade at tug-of-war. They were not small guys! Sadly, we lost the next round to the rival theatre. Still a bit sore about that.
What’s your cooking masterpiece?
Beef brisket. Smoked for 18-20hrs on an old whiskey barrel I made into a smoker.
Who is your hero and why?
Bit cheesy but it would have to be my mum. She was an amazingly supportive and selfless person. Looked out for every one of our friends as well as me and my siblings. The kindest yet most formidable wee Scots lass you could think of! I owe her the world.
