In other news, White Rock Youth Theatre Teaching Assistant, Nathan McDonald (below), is going to Mountview this month to study for a degree in Musical Theatre which is an incredible achievement. He was a founding member of the Youth Theatre in 2009, joined the teaching team aged 16, and has taken part in eight SYPs in Hastings. Nathan is an inspiration to those he works with as a teacher, performer, and creative. We wish him all the best for a bright future.

Having withdrawn drama school applications at the beginning of the pandemic and depleted his savings, he’s furiously fundraising to meet the fees at one of the UK’s leading drama schools. If anyone has pointers of funding sources, he would be incredibly grateful! Please contact his colleagues at the White Rock if you can help or offer him any advice!
