DOING IT FOR LAUGHS!
With Comic Relief just around the corner in the UK, we caught up with a couple of TE staff to chat comedy!
STEVIE RAE – CUSTOMER CONTACT CENTRE
I’m Stevie and I’m the promoter and host of Balls Out Comedy Club which has a residence at The Admirals Room, Cliffs Pavilion in Southend.
I can be found there on the first Thursday of every month where I guide the audience through a eclectic mix of comedy styles. Whilst I do book stand ups of course, Balls Out is also often a platform to find character comedy, musical comedy and improv comedy. In fact the second half of the night is our big fat improv finale where some of the acts from the first half return with me to perform unscripted, unprepared and relying on a lot of audience suggestions.
As a comic I would describe myself as an act who likes to poke fun at the absurdities of everyday life. Often in a very daft way but sometimes I can get quite dark. I do get a kick out of occasionally splitting a room!

CHIRA TOCHIA – TRAFALGAR RELEASING
TRL’s Digital Marketing Assistant, Chira Tochia, wanted to share this little joke with us!
Once there was two brothers, one was named Mind Your Own Business & the other was named Trouble. One day the two boys decided to play hide and seek. Trouble hid while Mind Your Own Business counted to one hundred. Mind Your Own Business began looking for his brother behind garbage cans and bushes. Then he started looking in and under cars until a police man approached him and asked, “What are you doing?”,“Playing a game,” the boy replied. “What is your name?” the officer questioned. “Mind Your Own Business.” Furious the policeman inquired, “Are you looking for trouble?!” The boy replied, “Why, yes.”
NEXT MONTH! April marks National Pet Month in the UK and we bet there are plenty of photos out there of you and your furry friends!
