NATIONAL CINEMA DAY

The Chiswick Cinema team enjoyed welcoming another record number of customers (nearly 1,300) for National Cinema Day on 2 September.

The team added shows of National Theatre productions, extra screenings from their new self-programmed Martin Scorsese season, encores for their Richard Attenborough retrospective and this year’s favourite blockbusters like Talk to Me, Barbie, Oppenheimer and Spider-Verse. A kitchen special, discounted beers and more, along with the programme, gave a new customer base a strong impression of what the cinema is all about as they work on their Membership targets for 2023.

Chris Parker, Marketing Manager, said: “It’s a brilliant day for cinemas to make a statement about who they are. We know the best marketing you can get is the experience people have in venue and the word of mouth from it, so the team went all out in delivering top-tier service. We and the UKCA’s wider members are demonstrating that through Cinema Memberships you can not only support businesses in a tough time, you can also choose to make every day cinema day.”

The team remain thrilled about the coming September event schedule with Hollywood headliner Q&As, their own film festival and a new F and B offering on the way. With a big push behind Memberships at the same time, they’re truly working to make this a unique place to be for their customers and an attractive club to sign up to.
