The sun was shining down on Trafalgar Studios on Monday evening as award-winning director Ned Bennett’s bold revival of Peter Shaffer’s iconic psychological thriller Equus finally opened in Studio 1 with a star-studded press night.
A DAY IN THE DEATH OF JOE EGG ANNOUNCED
Toby Stephens (Oslo, Lost in Space) and Claire Skinner (Outnumbered, The Father) will make their long awaited returns to the West End stage this autumn in Peter Nichols’(Privates on Parade, Passion Play) funny and moving masterpiece A Day in the Death of Joe Egg.
EQUUS TRANSFERS TO TRAFALGAR STUDIOS
Award-winning director Ned Bennett’s bold revival of Peter Shaffer’s iconic psychological thriller Equus is transfering to the West End this summer. Following its hugely successful run, the English Touring Theatre and Theatre Royal Stratford Eastproduction of Equus will open at London’s Trafalgar Studios 6 July for a strictly limited season until 7 September.
