BIG SCREEN EXPERIENCES
Trafalgar Releasing has announced some big screen releases this month.
a-ha – True North
90km above the Arctic Circle, Norway’s very own a-ha recorded their first collection of music since 2015’s Cast in Steel. “True North is a letter from a-ha, from the Arctic Circle, a poem from the far north of Norway,” says the band’s Magne Furuholmen.
Accompanied by a film, the conceptual collection combines the band’s visions and the talent of Norwegian orchestra, Arctic Philharmonic, to weave a narrative showing our collective connection to the environment. In selected cinemas 15 September.

The Retaliators
In The Retaliators, an upstanding pastor uncovers a dark and twisted underworld as he searches for answers surrounding his daughter’s brutal murder.
The Retaliators stars Michael Lombardi (Rescue Me), Marc Menchaca (Ozark) and Joseph Gatt (Game of Thrones). Cameos from some of the biggest names in rock music, including Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), Ivan Moody (Five Finger Death Punch), Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills), and Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe) set the tone as this horror-thriller reveals a game of revenge played using a new set of rules. In cinemas 14 September.

Richard III
The RSC returns to cinemas with Richard III from 28 September. Young Richard of Gloucester uses the chaos of the Wars of the Roses to begin his unscrupulous climb to power in this classic Shakespearean history of a king in the throes of jealousy and murder.
Despite being manifestly unfit to govern, he overcomes each obstacle in his way to seize the crown, as King Richard III. But as those around him turn against him, and as his plans begin to unravel, where else can he turn as the Lancastrian opposition returns to drag the country into battle once more and put an end to Richard’s tyrannical rule.
