A WHOLE NEW DIMENSION
Chris Parker from The Chiswick Cinema updates us about the busy festive period.
We’re proud to have worked closely with OMNEX PROFILM LIMITED who have upgraded our Screen 3 Christie Digital Systems projector with the latest in 3D technology just in time for James Cameron’s long-awaited breath-taking blockbuster.
Packed with beautiful vistas, Avatar: The Way of Water is something we’re all excited to share with our community and bring people together for a totally immersive 3D experience.

Our Boxing Day sale was billed as a rare chance to join the Founders’ Club, and the marketing team took nearly £15,000 in sales in one morning! It shows demand is now high again for our unique cinema package and we are working hard on maintaining that momentum by planning the Founders’ exclusives for the year ahead and taking the opportunity to review the Membership structure.

Successful Founders events over December saw an unveiling of the Founders’ Installation followed by drinks and nibbles; double the attendance to the monthly film quiz; a screening of The Holiday with a welcome drink included in the ticket price; a surprise and delight campaign delivering complimentary prosecco to seats; a Christmas concert featuring live music in the bar from Amy Jackson-Ives; and a New Years’ Eve drinks event with a selection of light bites following a screening of the Berliner Philharmoniker Live concert. I would also like to give a special thank you to supervisor Rob who worked tirelessly to get the new memberships created and kickstart the new members’ experience with some top tier customer service.

Work is underway for an art gallery space in the Main Bar and new partnerships have been forged with local community groups to shore up regular attendance to screenings such as group rates for Exhibition on Screen for a local artists group or for Kids Club by donating a small number of tickets to children from low income backgrounds at a local school.
Finally, the unveiling of Porsche as a brand partner is fast approaching and new partnerships with Pearl and Dean are being explored to target high-revenue opportunities to tie in with brands.
