The Beck Theatre Hayes held an afternoon tea for its wonderful team of volunteer ushers to celebrate Volunteers Week which ran from 1 – 7 June.

As this coincided with the Jubilee celebrations, guests tucked into traditional treats such as coronation chicken sandwiches, pork pies, scones, cupcakes and some very delicious Eton Mess profiteroles!

The Beck Theatre’s team of dedicated volunteers donate their time to help welcome audiences and assist them throughout their visit at the venue.

Some have been with the theatre for many years and have a wealth of experience and stories to enhance customer visits.

The theatre was also delighted to announce its Volunteer Champions, some of whom are pictured here. A huge congratulations to Bernie, Felicya, Gloria, John, Lesley, Michelle, Sue, Teresa and Zubeda for providing amazing customer service to the theatre’s patrons and thank you to all of the volunteer team!
