Our Group HR Manager, Carol Newton, had a close shave recently, with a pair of hair clippers!

Carol took part in Macmillan Cancer Support’s Brave the Shave campaign and has so far raised a staggering £1940 for the charity!

Carol said: “Nearly 4 years ago, we lost our dad to the big ‘C’, in 2019, my brave sister was successfully treated for breast cancer and then this Christmas, my sister-in-law, Janet, was diagnosed and the impact of her chemotherapy means her hair has fallen out.

“This is me, standing in solidarity with Jan at a time when I cannot be by her side; this is me showing my support at a time when I cannot hug her. And of course, thinking of friends and family that are or have been affected by this horrible disease – my love and support to you too.
