As Australia celebrated the New Year, Theatre Royal Sydney revealed some pretty impressive numbers from 2022!

Houri Tapiki, General Manager, told Ensemble: “The team at Theatre Royal Sydney are incredibly proud of our achievements over the past 12 months.

“Since the major milestone of reopening Theatre Royal Sydney in December 2021, we have welcomed well over 200,000 theatregoers, often in incredibly challenging times as we navigated through the pandemic, weather related events and economic uncertainty.

“The vision for Trafalgar Entertainment to bring the very best of international theatre to the people of Sydney has certainly been achieved!

“We look forward to continuing to build on this success in 2023 with the incredibly popular The Rocky Horror Show production which is celebrating its 50^th Year Anniversary opening in February, followed by TINA – The Tina Turner Musical commencing its season in May.”
