INTERNATIONAL WEEK OF HAPPINESS AT WORK
Everybody wants to be happy. Also at work. We spend a lot of time at work after all. Plus, when we are happy at work, we are likely to also be happier in the rest of our life. This month is International Week of Happiness at Work Week (19-25 September) so we asked some TE staff, what makes them happy at work!

Furry friends at The Churchill Theatre
Nothing makes Team Bromley happier than when dogs are in the building!
Rosie Field from the theatre said: “Recent doggie VIPs include Medway’s Guide Dogs in training who were last here for Dreamboats and Petticoats in July. The puppies were all extremely well behaved and they enjoyed the show too.
“When customers bring their dogs with them to book tickets, it’s sure to bring a smile to everyone’s faces. Our Box Office team are always happy to go the extra mile, and have even looked after a customer’s dog while they watched a show.
“There was an afternoon of pure joy recently when rescue dogs Murphy, Winnie and Dolly from Last Chance Animal Rescue came to the theatre for a ‘Puppy Love’ themed photocall with cast from The Osmonds musical. We’re happy to report that all three dogs were adopted not long afterwards.
“What can we say, a furry face brightens everyone’s day in Bromley!”

Monthly Milkshake Trip in High Wycombe!
Rachel Murdoch wanted to share what members of Team Wycombe Swan did to stay happy at work.
Rachel said: “What makes us happy is when we can all get together and go for lunch together, it doesn’t happen often – but when it does it’s great to have a big old chat with everyone from different departments and eat good food!
“One thing that makes a lot of us happy – especially in the Marketing / Ticketing Office, is the last Wednesday of the month when we all go out for our ‘Monthly Milkshake Trip’, it’s nice to get away from the desk and have a little treat together. We’re quickly going through all the different flavours!”

Briony’s Happy Place!
Briony Tanner (below) from Stagecoach told Ensemble: “What makes me happy at work… When you have been working so hard on a big project or just trying to sort something out for a Principal and it just works and goes to plan. In essence it’s the feeling of achievement and knowing you have been helpful! Also, free food!”
