TRAFALGAR THEATRE PRODUCTIONS NEWS
ANYTHING GOES RETURNS TO THE BARBICAN THEATRE
Following its recent Spring tour of the UK, our spectacular, award-winning, critically-acclaimed production of Anything Goes has returned to London for a second Summer season at the Barbican Theatre.
Kerry Ellis stars as Reno, alongside Simon Callow (Whitney), Dennis Lawson (Moonface) and Bonnie Langford (Mrs. Harcourt). Returning cast from last year’s production are Carly Mercedes Dyer, Haydn Oakley, Nicole-Lily and Samuel Edwards.
“It’s a brilliantly put together show,” said Simon Callow. “It’s cumulatively delightful and joyful which is what we want at the moment from the theatre.”
“We really need that tonic and that uplift,” added Bonnie Langford. “The show is very slick but it also has a spontaneity about it. We are all in a room together experiencing it on top of the wonderful live music; there are so many people on stage, there are tap dancing sailors on a ship, we’ve got seagulls that don’t eat your ice cream – it’s perfect. What else could you want?”
