TE PEOPLE UPDATE

Here’s the latest round-up of people announcements from across the Group!

Derek Aldridge, who until recently was Venue Director at G-Live, will be working alongside Ellen McPhillips in her Programming Director role for the next 12 months as Head of Regional Programming for Trafalgar Theatres. This is an exciting collaboration which will focus on growing rich and diverse content, delivering quality entertainment across the regional theatres, and to our audiences and communities.

Following on from Derek’s move, we are pleased to confirm that Edd Beamish, currently General Manager at G-Live, will be stepping up as Interim Venue Director pending recruitment of a permanent successor. Edd has been temporarily looking after the venue for the past few months and we would like to thank him for his hard work and commitment during this time.

We are also pleased to welcome Grant Sellen as Head of Venue Integration and Development starting on the 27 June. Grant will be reporting into Chris McGuigan, and focussing on key groupwide projects to develop the operation of the UK regional venues as they integrate into the Trafalgar Entertainment portfolio. Grant has over 18 years’ experience of working in the theatre industry and has most recently worked for Selladoor Worldwide, as Head of Programming.

After some 10 years as the General Manager of the Trafalgar Theatre, we’re delighted that Martin Scorer has been offered and accepted a new role from 1 August, with TE’s central operations team, as Group Health & Safety Manager across all Trafalgar Theatres. Martin’s stewardship at The Trafalgar Theatre included its period of transition into a Trafalgar Entertainment venue in 2017 and more recently its stunning refurbishment and post-pandemic reopening.

Finally, we welcome new team members to the PA team in Woking. Sira Chan, the new Office Administrator and Tara Wells-Stobbard who is temporarily supporting Helen as Executive Assistant until Louisa Hoyle joins us permanently from the 4 July. Louisa will be taking up the role as Senior Personal Assistant.
