We headed to Manchester and Sunderland last month for the official press launches of The King and I. Local media were invited to interview the cast and were treated to stunning preview performances from Jose Llana, reprising his critically acclaimed Broadway performance as The King, and Annalene Beechey, fresh from her West End success.

Following the critically acclaimed Broadway smash hit run and its box office sold out record breaking season at the London Palladium, the multi Tony Award winning The King and I embarks on its major UK tour from April, kicking off in Manchester and closely followed by Dublin and Sunderland.

Following a Japanese run, the UK tour then picks up later in the year calling at Edinburgh, Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Hull, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Bristol, Woking and Southampton.
