STAGECOACH STUDENTS BREAK GUINNESS WORLD RECORD!
Thousands of Stagecoach students have successfully set a new Guinness World Record.
As part of the 30th anniversary celebrations last year, students from 73 schools participated in an internationally choreographed event over the summer. Stagecoach schools in the UK and abroad, including Germany and Canada, came together to stage multiple performances of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Junior.
Taking place simultaneously at 6pm BST on 1 July 2018, the performances were arranged to commemorate three decades of Stagecoach Performing Arts, whose singing, dancing and acting classes continue to inspire children and instil them with Creative Courage for Life.
Independent adjudicators have now verified all the submissions from across the network and confirmed that Stagecoach has secured a new Guinness World Record for ‘the largest number of simultaneous performances of one show’! Stagecoach has broken its own record in the process, surpassing the previous figure of 66 performances of Glad Rags, set in 2008 to commemorate the 20th anniversary.
