EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH: NEŽA KOVAČİČ
Welcome to our monthly who’s who of Trafalgar Entertainment. This month we say hello to Neža Kovačič!
Which room do you currently work in at home and what do you do?
I am the office administrator at Trafalgar Releasing and the office move has kept me busy for the past month so I currently have the whole office to myself. When I work from home, however, you will normally find me in my bedroom. I just recently bought a desk and it is a revelation!
Describe yourself in 3 words!
Positive, fun and creative
Favourite stage production and why?
A ballet called Radio and Juliet from my local theatre in Maribor, Slovenia. Saw it first when I was 11-years-old and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen on stage. I have seen it over 10 times since, last time at the London Palladium when they were performing it in the UK. That felt extra special to me, since it felt like they came to perform it to my new hometown just for me. I have seen so many stage productions but this one manages to inspire me every single time I see it as if I was seeing it for the first time.
Favourite album?
Too many come to mind but one I keep coming back to is Beach House – Bloom.
Best ever gig?
Seeing Mac DeMarco at the Primavera Festival in Barcelona. The atmosphere was just pure perfection.
Top 3 films of all time?
Lobster by Yorgos Lanthimos, The Royal Tenenbaums by Wes Anderson and Submarine by Richard Ayoade.. I could go on and on..
What’s your go to TV binge boxset?
Parks and Recreation. It is so wholesome it makes me feel good about life.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Slatine, Čiavo in Croatia is a little island opposite Split where my family and I have been going on holiday for the past 13 years. I only started appreciating the calmness of the island once I started working. It is the perfect place to reset your mind.
Your Greatest sporting achievement?
Sleeping for 27 hours straight!
What’s your cooking masterpiece?
Nutella cake which is better than it sounds.
Who is your hero and why?
My mum, because she is the coolest most fashionable strong woman I know and she always manages to make the best out of any situation. She is my best friend and if I am ever 1/10 as cool as she is I have won the lottery.
