Verdi’s La Traviata is famous for its complex and sympathetic portrayal of tragic heroine Violetta, a Parisian courtesan who pays the ultimate price for falling in love with a romantic aristocrat.

David McVicar’s evocative production of this much-loved opera will be broadcast live to cinemas from the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona on 28 December – tickets on sale soon!

A popular annual fixture in the world of classical music, this year’s Berliner Philharmoniker New Year’s Eve Concert will bring the diversity of Spanish music to life.
