LTD’S EAGLE EYE FOR NEW PARTNERSHIPS

Having sold more than 10 million London theatre tickets, London Theatre Direct (LTD) has enhanced its support for customers to get back to theatre and reduce the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the West End with a rapid digital gift rollout. 

LTD has worked with Eagle Eye to rapidly deploy a digital gift voucher solution to offer ticket holders a refund alternative that could be included in its relevant email customer communications. Using an API-driven approach to the integration, the ticketing provider integrated Eagle Eye’s SaaS-based AIR marketing platform into LTD’s bespoke ticketing technology to manage the real-time issuance and redemption of gift refunds.

The ability to offer customers the chance to re-book using electronic gift vouchers has enabled LTD to allow customers to keep funds for a future booking without needing to decide to exchange their tickets for another show. This is especially useful when many shows have not announced when they will reopen.

LTD has also partnered with Stripe (an online payment platform) to advance the payments experience. Stripe’s enterprise-grade infrastructure will power enhanced online payment capabilities for LTD’s customers and B2B distribution partners.
