Students from Stagecoach are taking part in an innovative online summer workshop this week as the company continues to teach Creative Courage for Life online.

The We Will Rock You workshop follows the story of two young rebels as they restore rock ‘n’ roll to “the iPlanet” in a post-apocalyptic world.

This is the first time that Stagecoach has run an online workshop with help from industry professionals.

The workshop has been taking place on Zoom across five days offering students the choice of a morning or afternoon session.

The project culminates with students performing a special online production of We Will Rock You.

Matt Clark, Head of Performance and Production at Stagecoach, said: “The workshop has been a wonderful experience, with all the wonderfully talented students working so very hard each day to learn the choreography and songs for We will Rock You.

“Our three wonderful teachers and Stagecoach Principal have worked so hard to give these students the best offering online and we are blown away by their commitment, energy and hard work to this fantastic and exciting project.”
