It’s been a busy time for the team at Luke Shires Marketing. Last week, they revealed the new cast for Come From Away, which was the first ever live press announcement with What’s on Stage. This new approach was a huge success with over 1,000 online commentators talking about the production on the day; x20 more the average number of comments normally received about a show, x25 more the amount of 1 minute views and x14 more the amount of shares.  

Team LSM also joined forces with Centrepoint as a charity partner with Come From Away and Luke and LJ took part in the Sleep Out event in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to raise money for young homeless people in the UK. They organised bucket collections and donated a percentage of part of their online campaign to the charity – all of which raised over £10,000.

Finally, Oaks Primary Academy in Maidstone, Kent, reached out to the cast from Come From Away as they’d been learning Me and The Sky in class. Children from the school were then invited to see the show and performed in front of the cast!
