SCOTTISH FRANCHISE WEEK

The British Franchise Association (BFA) celebrated Scottish Franchise week in Glasgow by holding a series of events on the 11 and 12 September for Franchisors, current and potential Franchisees and representatives from other areas of the business world.

On the second day the BFA hosted a special breakfast with the theme of Education with guest speakers, presentations and networking opportunities.

At the breakfast event, Chase Demmers from the Stagecoach Education Team delivered a presentation about his journey with Stagecoach from being a student, becoming a Teacher Manager and then later working in The Stagecoach Education Team.

Chase said: “My speech addressed the life skills that young people benefit from developing when they engage in the arts and the transferable skills that are desired by employers, not forgetting that without creativity we don’t get innovation.”

Chase presented alongside MP Jamie Halcro Johnston and Chris Newlands: Creator of the Spelfie – the selfie from space.
